李乂，字尚真，趙州房子人。年十二，工屬文，第進士，茂才異等，調萬年尉。長安中，擢監察御史，遷中書舍人，修文館學士。睿宗朝，進吏部侍郎，改黃門侍郎，中山郡公。開元初，轉紫微侍郎，未幾，除刑部尚書，卒，年六十八。居官沈正方雅，識治體，時稱有宰相器，與兄尚一、尚貞，俱以文章見稱，有《李氏花萼集》。乂與蘇頲對掌綸誥，明皇比之味道與嶠，並稱蘇李。今編詩一卷。
