畬山兒，畬山兒（《沅湘》無此三字），無所知，年年鑿（《五燈會元》作「斫」）斷青山嵋。
就中最好衡山（《五燈會元》、《沅湘》作「嶽」）色，杉松利斧摧貞枝。
靈禽野鶴無因依，白雲迴避青煙飛。
猿猱路絕巖厓（《沅湘》作「岸」）出，芝朮（《沅湘》作「樹」）失根茅草肥，年年斫罷仍再鉏（《沅湘》作「復鋤」），千秋終是難復初。
又（《南嶽總勝集》作「由」）道今年種不多，來年更斫（《南嶽總勝集》作「明年濶斫」）當陽坡。
國家壽嶽尚如此，不知此理如之何。
